Extended Care

Families today lead busy lives that often require ongoing or occasional support with after school childcare. We are pleased to provide a flexible extended care program in a fun, safe caring environment.

Extended care is available each school day, except for Registration Day and the last day of school, from dismissal until 6pm. Families may choose a tuition style plan based on customized days and hours used per week or may choose drop-in only.

After check-in, students have a snack provided by the program, and enjoy free-play time. Students can choose from a variety of age-appropriate activities, including ping pong, air hockey, foosball, games, and more.

Homework/quiet time follows for about 45 minutes to an hour. Students either complete homework or engage in a quiet activity, for example, story time. Following homework, students are offered a second light snack, and have group fun time

Special arts, crafts, or other activities are available on minimum/early dismissal days and on Fridays.

The afterschool program takes place in a large, comfortable area with games, homework/snack space, and lounging areas. Other areas used by Extended Care include the school gym, study hall (classroom upstairs), and the enclosed upper schoolyard.
