St. Monica Parents

Our parent community is an integral part of our Saint Monica School community. They follow the example of Saint Monica, our namesake and mother herself, who raised Augustine, Perpetua and Navigus. Parental involvement is at the heart of all we do and help to build and strengthen the community.

The core of parental involvement is the volunteer hours they contribute to the school. Parent hours support our school in our fundraising events, annual gala, coaching sports teams, provide hospitality to the school tour and open house visitors,  act as ambassadors for prospective families and more.

Each family commits to the following volunteer  service within a school year:

  • Minimum 30 parent volunteer hours (15 hours for single parent families)
  • Participation in the fall and spring fundraisers, and in our Annual Dinner Gala. 

Our Parent Club hosts monthly meetings in the evenings, Coffee with the P’s monthly after drop off, and communicates through School-Pages.
